Reporting to Governance, Risk and Compliance Counsel this role will be accountable for ensuring a strong culture of compliance and risk management.
The role will be required to create and drive the programme for Beacon training and compliance, providing operational end to end project management. The role holder will ensure company compliance with competition law, and work with the shareholder compliance teams to drive the right behaviors around information sharing.
This role will be required to support the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Counsel in delivering and further developing the Governance, Risk and Compliance frameworks for Beacon and lead on key workstreams, including new training initiatives, policies, and procedures within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Information Sharing: Competition - Responsibility for compliance with competition law (information sharing) under joint venture protocols.
- Implement robust and effective controls to ensure that information sharing occurs in a manner that is consistent with competition law requirements.

What is required for the role:
- 5 years experience working in a similar/ relevant Governance and Compliance role.
- Relevant industry certification and experience is an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of project management principles
- Ability to build relationships and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player with good organisational skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to communicate clearly and simply.
- Experience in delivering or supporting the delivery of regulatory compliance and adherence to rules and guidelines.
- Computer and technology literate with excellent Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel and Outlook skills as well as the ability to use other platform solutions.
