Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting a Shipping Export Administrator for a Maternity Cover 12 month contract, at our client's Ashton-under-Lynn site. This crucial role involves ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment processes while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and timely shipping documentation, considering export/import customs requirements.
Ensure compliance with packaging, customs, and customer-specific regulations.
Monitor and coordinate all outstanding orders for timely shipment and consolidation.
Manage export shipments and documentation on the 3PL system to avoid delays.
Cost shipments for freight invoicing and accrual purposes.
Assist in managing stock movements and obtaining carrier quotes.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Generate pick sheets, delivery notes, and relevant paperwork accurately.
Coordinate warehouse activities for on-time delivery.
Investigate and rectify stock anomalies and manage sample dispatch.
Process returns efficiently, both physically and on SAP.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health and safety standards.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Strong team player with organizational and prioritisation skills.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of 'Incoterms' selling and buying tools.
Experience of UK Customs Export documentation
