Eton Bridge Partners are partnering with a pioneering, PE-backed, business to appoint a Group Financial Controller based from their Guildford office.

We are seeking candidates that ideally will have experience within a Private Equity environment that are eager to join a successful business where they can gain experience, grow with the company and grab new opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Be a trusted partner, working closely with the CFO to support the Finance function in all aspects of technical accounting - including financial reporting, controls and processes.
- Bring knowledge of how a strong Finance team should operate, and suggest ideas towards making improvements.
- Use strong leadership skills to foster a proactive and thriving team to ready the business for an exit.
- Work collaboratively with the team to cover BAU accounting in a high-volume environment.
- Review systems and support with any changes/implementations.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the main point of contact with auditors.

**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Qualified accountant with a solid technical understanding of accounting principles and practices. Ideally Big 4 trained (ACA).
- Experience within a PE environment is desirable, preferably within the technology sector.
- PE exit experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Track record of process improvement and implementing effective financial controls.
Location: Guildford
Salary: c.£110-120k DOE + package
