The role
This is key role within our clients established NI team. As a Lead Front End Engineer, you will lead on the redevelopment of or clients most popular product offering. Working alongside a full stack engineer and QA, you will be the sole engineer responsible for redesigning and developing the front end for this product.

Key responsibilities:

Lead a small team to build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions.
Develop high-quality, well-tested, and scalable solutions using TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
Leverage Vue.js to build complex and user-friendly UIs. As this is a new build, other frameworks will be considered - Typically React or Angular.
Write comprehensive unit tests using modern testing frameworks like jest or cypress. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI and services, help debug issues, and ensure seamless user experience Work closely with the design and product teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
Deliver performant, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our users.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, and proactively suggest improvements for the current tech stack and processes.
Understand and implement security and data protection features. Mentor junior team members and share insights and knowledge with the team.
Consider accessibility for end users using WCAG 2.0.

Key requirements:

Familiarity with at least one Front End Framework such as Vue, React or Angular.
Familiarity with at least one back end language such as Java or C#
Previous experience with Kendo UI is highly desirable
Previous experience implementing accessibility protocols

Market leading salary, typically in the range of £65-75k
