The Gate Inn is ideally located in Yorkers gate in Malton. We have exciting plans to transform this pub through investment and relaunching as a tap & brewhouse. This will also include a rename of the establishment to the Filly & Flagon. The pub has a spacious and open plan feel which will be retained in the investment with a single bar to serve the entire pub, providing guests with a unique and intimate pub experience. With the right person at the helm, The Filly & Flagon will become the talk of the high street with a quality craft & cask ale offer.

Malton is a historic market town, famous as Yorkshire’s food capital. It boasts regular food festivals, monthly food markets, and locally owned artisan food shops. The town centre also has independent shops neighbouring popular high street favourites.
