Liverpool's most exciting venue which features an array of creative and delicious canapés and cocktails with a full compliment of wines and champagnes, plus outstanding small dishes needs a passionate and ambitious experienced SCDP or Sous Chef preferably located from Merseyside to join and lead the team serving amazing produce, premiumcuisine. As SCDP or Sous Chef you will work in a small but high end kitchen range to deliver consistently excellent standards. If you enjoy being part of a strong independent company with a passion for amazing cuisine then this will be the right opportunity for you.

As SCDP or Sous Chef your responsibilities will include :

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
  • Preparing and cook fresh local food for restaurant and functions
  • Ordering and maintaining stock levels
  • Managing and training any chef de parties working with you
The Chef Requirements :
  • Already working as Sous Chef in a fresh food environment with minimum 12 months experience
  • NVQ2 or College Qualified
  • Enthusiastic with positive attitude and keen to learn.
  • Ideal role for someone looking to learn in a busy environment from talented head chef
  • 40hrs + hours weekly

The Ideal chef should be:

  • Passionate about food and continually pushing standards
  • A team player with an outgoing and self starter attitude
  • Enthusiastic about exceeding expectations through delicious food, working alongside the front of house team to deliver great customer service.
  • A keen eye for detail to deliver excellent standards in every dish served.
