Overview:

A prestigious venue in London, known for its iconic status in the entertainment industry, is currently seeking a talented Day Electrical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within the facility, handling both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to uphold the reliability of electrical systems and equipment.

- Promptly addressing reactive maintenance issues and resolving electrical faults efficiently.

- Performing routine inspections and tests to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.

- Executing repairs and installations in adherence to safety standards and regulations.

- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities for reference and compliance purposes.

- Collaborating with fellow maintenance staff and external contractors when necessary.


Requirements:

- MUST have a Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Engineering.

- Demonstrable experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.

- Profound understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components.

- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards such as BS 7671.

- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues effectively.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours and participate in an on-call rotation if required.
