Altus Partners is delighted to have been retained by a leading turnaround investor who is looking for an Investment Associate to join its London team and focus on UK investments. This fund has an impressive track record and will invest in businesses with revenues of up to 1bn across a range of sectors. As part of a small and growing team in London you’ll have the backing of a well established fund and the ability to take on genuine responsibility as part of a collegiate team.

THE ROLE:

  • Develop an independent view of deals forming an opinion on business quality and risk of capital loss, identify and examine key risks and mitigants
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of portfolio
  • Understand, articulate and develop investment strategy
  • Monitor UK business landscape for intelligence

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ideal candidate will have Advisory experience coming from Lead Advisory / Transaction Services / Special Situations or Restructuring teams or Investment Banking
  • You’ll be self-driven, intellectually curious and adaptable with a learning and growth mindset
  • You’ll have the ability to work well in teams and with different stakeholders, with maturity and confidence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
