We're looking for a Mechanical Manager to join our Construction team, on an exciting project at HMP Channing's Wood Prison.

This will be a crucial role in overseeing the Mechanical Installation on site, as part of a major project in the South Devon region.


 


Location: Newton Abbot, South Devon


Contract: Full Time, Permanent


 


What will you be responsible for?


As a Mechanical Manager with Kier you will:



  • Be responsible for the effective Mechanical Engineering service of the project to ensure compliance with specifications, planned costs, and schedule.
  • Work within the project team to manage re-engineering and variations in accordance with change management processes.
  • Act as a Competent Mechanical Engineer responsible for delegated works packages.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful delivery of works packages.

What are we looking for?


In a Mechanical Manager we look for:



  • Technical proficiency within Mechanical services and safety.
  • CSCS and SMSTS accreditation
