Job Title: Mechanical Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team at Sphere Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mechanical contracts from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, execute, and complete mechanical contracts from inception to handover.
  2. Oversee all mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring they are completed to specification and on schedule.
  3. Ensure project delivery within budget and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  4. Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
  5. Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
  6. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
  7. Negotiate contracts, variations, and procurement agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
  8. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Professional certifications in project management or mechanical systems are desirable.
  3. Minimum of three years of experience in mechanical contracting or project management within the construction or building services industry.
  4. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety installations.
  5. Proven experience managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
  6. Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  7. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, or other project management tools).
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
