Position Overview:
As a PVG Chef, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety within our organisation. You will be responsible for creating delicious and nutritious meals while adhering to stringent health and safety guidelines. The successful candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and dietary requirements.
Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) regulations and guidelines.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, following hygiene and safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and coordinate menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimising waste.
Collaborate with management to implement and maintain quality control measures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef in a PVG-regulated environment.
PVG Scheme Membership is a bonus (we can provide update or application.
Strong knowledge of PVG regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication skills
