Company Overview: We are a leading construction and project management firm dedicated to delivering outstanding development projects across various sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a high-profile £40 million combined school and residential housing scheme.


Role Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a large-scale development project, involving both educational facilities and residential housing. You will be the key point of contact for all stakeholders, including suppliers and external contractors, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the project from conception to completion.
  • Manage relationships with all project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction processes, managing multiple contractor schedules to avoid conflicts and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and manage the budget, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making to address project challenges and ensure solutions align with project goals.
  • Champion best practices in project management within the organisation.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation such as MAPM (Member of the Association for Project Management) or RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is highly desirable. Candidates with dual accreditation will be prioritised.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management within large-scale construction projects, ideally involving both educational and residential developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement, and contracts management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.
