Job Summary: The E-Commerce Expansion Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of our expansion initiatives. This role requires a strong focus on project management, financial analysis, and market research to ensure successful entry and growth in new territories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce operations, financial performance management, and market development.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive expansion strategies to enter new markets within the UK and internationally.
  • Identify and assess potential market opportunities and create actionable plans.

Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute expansion projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and finance teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

Financial Performance Management:

  • Monitor and analyse the financial performance of e-commerce channels.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support expansion initiatives.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and revenue-enhancing opportunities.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimise market entry strategies.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the operational aspects of new market entries, including supply chain, logistics, and local compliance.
  • Ensure that all operational processes are efficient and scalable.

Performance Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on project status, financial performance, and market conditions for senior management.
