As a result, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Internal Communications Manager to be the driving force behind making a difference in our internal communications. Responsibilities: Drive improvements in our overall approach to Internal Communications at Corndel to maximise the impact it has for our people and the business.Understand through feedback what is good and not so about our current approach, both proactively and in response to communications activities. In collaboration with others in key communications roles in the business, develop, agree and deliver plans to make tangible improvements.Development & coordination of the Corndel-wide communications calendar:Develop and maintain a clear internal communications calendar; ensuring alignment with key business objectives and milestones; and timely preparation and planning to maximise engagement and the effectiveness of the communications.Collaborate with our teams across Corndel to integrate communication updates and key messages into the overall communications plan and calendar. Internal Company Communications: In collaboration with the marketing team, develop communication materials, formats, styles and tone that will support the effectiveness of our communications and allow these to resonate and be accessible to our people. Support the development of communication content to improve the effectiveness of our communications and messaging. Develop our communications channels to improve the way we share and provide access to internal communications content and resources.Provide expertise and input to support our teams in communications techniques, ideas and landing their key messages with different audiences.Developing the Effectiveness of our Internal Communication Channels:Working with key roles and teams in the business build and execute a plan to enhance and improve the effectiveness and accessibility of company and departmental information and resources.Take a lead on the management or our Corndel intranet, includes managing the day to day processes of updating and sharing content, whilst driving improvements that enable improved engagement. Working with the various internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective and timely communications.Support the business to utilise a diverse range of communication channels, to improve the reach and improve overall engagement in our core communication channels. (current communications channels include; virtual company briefings, all company and regional events, Corndel intranet, email, team meetings, Viva Engage)Explore innovative ways to enhance the impact of internal communications through emerging technologies.Implement and Coordinate Regional and Companywide Employee Connection Events:Plan, coordinate and evaluate the introduction and ongoing role of engaging regional employee connection events taking place in Q2 & 3 of the year.Develop ideas on activities that support the informal sharing of knowledge, build understanding of teams and roles and support individuals to connect with one another and build and enhance employee relationships.Encourage Corndel colleagues to volunteer to work as champions for regional events and get involved in planning and running events.To implement solutions to support ongoing connections and support networks post events, building regional Corndel communities.Support the design and delivery of the annual all company Cornfest event to maximise the event and post event activities in supporting the engagement and connection of our people.About You - What we are looking forPrevious experience of making an impact with internal communications in a medium sized growing business. Experience in developing a connected and internally networked business, that facilitates collaboration and open communication, would be a real advantage.Energy and passion to drive to delivery, supported by natural ability to bring people on the journey and work collaboratively to achieve goals and targets.Effective influencing and stakeholder management skills and experience, ability to deliver and embed changes in ways of working.Strong project management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.It sounds obvious but great communication skills, ability to engage different audiences and have real impact.
