Role Summary – Programme Manager – Global Speciality:

To manage programmes, large projects and portfolios of projects implementing DXC Global Specialty software products.


To actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the business, the Delivery team, and specific programmes and projects. This includes the identification and development of reusable processes and assets.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Senior manager with the DXC Assure Implementation team responsible for a client portfolio of Broking and Commercial Specialty solution implementations
  • To manage project and programme activities to support implementations of the Assure Broking & Assure Commercial Specialty solutions.
  • Manage and control finance and budgets for projects and programmes under their control and contribute to the overall management of finance and budgets across the Department.
  • To identify, secure and manage resources to support Assure Global Specialty implementations
  • To pro-actively manage Risk, Issues and Changes within and across all Assure Specialty implementation programmes under their control and ensure appropriate communication and escalation with the Senior Management Team
  • To accurately and promptly report project and programme status inside and outside of DXC.
  • To identify and engage all key stakeholders throughout the change process
  • To make sure that communication within the organisation and with Customers is appropriate.
  • To build relationships with client/prospect stakeholders
  • Participate and contribute to overall resource allocation and management across the Department
  • Engage in sales opportunities working with sales and product staff to ensure viable estimates are provided for sale opportunities and delivery expectations are realistic and achievable.
  • To ensure completed projects are fully transitioned into the support teams
  • To develop and ensure usage of agreed implementation methodologies ensuring consistency & compliance


Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Significant experience implementing Lloyds and Company Market Policy Administration and Broking solutions.
  • Significant experience of Project/Programme delivery in a high-pressure environment, across multi-disciplinary teams and locations.
  • Strong account management experience working with senior levels in Customer environments and generating additional sales opportunities from these accounts.
  • Flexible, highly motivated, team player who is confident of working primarily unsupervised and making decisions and taking controlled risks.
  • Proven ability to communicate, build relationships and influence highly challenging sponsors and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of structured implementation or project management methodologies, preferably Prince2
  • Highly diligent with appropriate attention to detail and able to manage large budgets
  • Prepared to travel when required
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required - connecting and collaborating with colleagues in different time zones.


Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of implementing Insurance solutions on the cloud.
  • Knowledge/Awareness of upcoming Lloyds Blue Print 2 changes
