As a Deputy Programme Manager, this role support the Programme Manager in the delivery of Defence projects. Reporting to the Control Systems Account and as a linchpin in the Project Delivery Team. This UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and key stakeholders across the business
Support the Programme/Account Manager to manage project relationships, including partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries, in line with agreements, supplier code of conduct and best practice stakeholder management and contract management. These relationships will be managed through effective collaboration across the stakeholder community to ensure delivery objectives are meet.
Support the Business Development function in pursing and capturing new opportunities through to award of the associated contract.
Provide robust leadership to drive team performance, competence and talent, and be a mentor and role model.
