Position Overview:
  • The Applications Specialist plays a pivotal role in the ZOOK's success by providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the application of products.

Position: Application Specialist - UK

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers regarding the application of our products, including installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Product Integration: Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and assist in the integration of our products into their systems or processes.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and technical documentation to educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
  • Product Certification and Standards: Be aware of the relevant standards and codes
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product enhancements or modifications based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication, responsiveness, and proactive support.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and customer service teams to address customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and drive product improvements.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is  preferred.
  •  5-7 years’ experience in a technical support or applications engineering role, preferably in the engineering/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of rupture disc application is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer visits, training sessions, and industry events.
