Cherrybrook Nursery is Ofsted rated Good and has an activity room as well as soft play on site. Each room has access to their own balconies and the babies have a dedicated garden for them to explore. We have a car park onsite and good transport links to the nursery.

We are looking for a Nursery Lunch Time Assistant to join our growing team and provide kitchen support and to and support with the children's daily routines across the lunch period.

This role is working 30 hours per week, 9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. This would be helping to support in the kitchen with washing up and preparing snack in the morning from 9am-11am and then to support in the rooms with the staff and children from 11am-3pm (We can be flexible on the finishing time and you can have an unpaid break during your shift should you wish).

This nursery is open all year round and therefore this is not a term time only role. You will need to have experience working within childcare. Salary ranging from £11.44 - £12.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

As a Nursery Lunch Time Assistant, you will:

Ensure that each child’s individual needs are met and a high standard of professional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secure environment in which all children can play, learn and develop

Observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child’s individual learning and development needs and abilities

Engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills

Ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularly and adhered to by all

Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management

Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
