Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Unit Manager to develop, lead and grow the business. You will assist the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the home. You will be part of a strong management team, working closely with our nurses and carers to provide a consistent service delivery that meets the needs of our residents. Your focus will be on making sure we have the best care provisions for our residents and you will actively contribute to care delivery. Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards is desirable.

*Our Unit Manager will:-*

· Working alongside the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the home.

· Be a part of a strong management team, working closely with nurses and carers

· Create an environment which attracts and retains high quality staff that contribute to

· Effective team working

· Maintain CQC compliance in line with CQC standards

· Liaise with Healthcare professionals to understand best practice within the industry

· Liaise with senior management and deliver KPI’s as required

*Education, Skills, and qualifications*

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

· Proven experience as a Unit Manager, or a similar leadership role in the care sector

· NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards

· Excellent business acumen with a strong desire to develop and grow the service

· Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards

· Good leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively

· Full UK driving licence/car owner
