The Role:

This role sits within our Sensor Systems Business Unit in Fareham.

You will work as a Warehouse Operative in close cooperation with the Storage, Production, and Planning department in order to keep a good quality and flow of material in and out of our production.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Your responsibilities include storing materials, picking and packing orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform picking and packing of shop orders and customer orders
  • Support the production line with material deliveries upon non-conformities
  • Perform inventory controls/checks and keeping record of stock
  • Keep quality standards high for picking and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment within stores
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven working experience as a Warehouse Operative, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, -Word and -Outlook
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and its documentation
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and handle warehouse tools and equipment\\\'s
  • Current forklift licence (optional)
