We are looking for a HR Manager to deliver people management plans and support SoloProtect's business goals. This role reports to the Finance Director and leads on all HR matters.
Key Activities
- Responsible for HR planning in partnership with senior management.
- Review and update HR policies in line with legislative changes.
- Manage ER casework and advise managers on formal processes such as disciplinaries, grievances, and contractual updates.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, H&S standards, and D&I policies.
- Oversee recruitment and selection, talent management and succession planning.
- Ensure hiring compliance by verifying right-to-work, ID checks, and reviewing security screening reports.
- Maintain and improve the use of HR systems (HRIS and LMS).
- Provide operational support on ER, employment law, onboarding, job evaluations, D&I, and organisational changes.
- Responsible for managing absenteeism, retention, payroll changes, and accurate references.
- Conduct engagement surveys, analyse feedback, and implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
- Responsible for managing HR projects as directed.
- Responsible for keeping up to date with emerging HR and employment law developments.
- Fulfilment of additional duties as required.
Desired Experience
- Identify learning needs across all levels of the organisation and implement training initiatives to address skills gaps.
- Experience working with EU employment law.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of HR generalist experience.
- Professional HR certification, such as CIPD.
- Demonstrable experience in compliance and employment law.
- Experience in developing and supporting line managers.
- Experience in HR planning and delivering people initiatives.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
