Amazon Advertising Manager

During a period of rapid growth, we are looking for a Marketplace Advertising Manager to bolster our team, working across both Amazon Sponsored Ads and the DSP.
Reporting to a senior member of the ads team, you will have complete ownership of your clients’ advertising activity. You will define the strategy, be responsible for the running of paid advertising campaigns, as well as for reporting and communication.
You will play a pivotal role in the full account lifecycle including project scope, client requirements, strategy, implementation, testing, and ongoing account management. An understanding of ecommerce & marketplace industry trends is vital.
You will be an integral part of our advertising team, bringing new ideas and expertise that helps build our capability at a key stage in our development. Working closely with team members in the UK and the EU, sharing accounts and sharing ideas to drive the best results. This role offers the opportunity to develop highly valuable skills whilst providing huge potential for broader personal progression into the management of more junior team members at the executive and assistant level.
Tasks- Onboarding of new clients, formation of strategy and setting KPI’s
- Creation and optimisation of Amazon Sponsored Ads campaigns
- Creation and optimisation of Amazon DSP activity (programmatic)
- Creation and delivery of performance reports to clients on a fortnightly basis using our proprietary technology suite, Tambo Compass
- Handle ad hoc communication with clients as it relates to their advertising activity
- Analysing account performance and market behaviours to identify opportunities to grow your accounts
- Use proprietary and 3rd party tools for research and analysis
- Supporting other team members to grow accounts
- Conducting training and develop appropriate documentation for clients and colleagues
- Supporting wider business initiatives such as new business proposals and consultancy projects as required
Essential
- Minimum 2yrs+ experience with Amazon Advertising working on sophisticated Amazon brands
- Excellent level of competency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to grow brands via Amazon Advertising campaigns
- Strong analytical skills
- Confidence in communicating to both internal and external stakeholders/ clients up to the C level
- Demonstrable ability to think on your feet and make smart decisions
- Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure
- Agency account management experience (or relevant in-house equivalent)
- Proven ability to develop meaningful client relationships
