As a Digital Advertising Strategist at Amazon UK, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our advertising business.

Job Overview

Amazon Ads is the digital advertising arm of Amazon and one of our fastest growing businesses. We operate at the intersection of commerce, entertainment and advertising, offering unique advertising products (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display), enterprise ad tech (Amazon DSP, Amazon Ad Server, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon Publisher Services) and a rich array of unique creative, format and measurement solutions. We offer advertisers premium brand placements on our owned and operated properties, including Thursday Night Football, FreeVee, Prime Video, Twitch, and FireTV as well as on third-party publishers via Amazon Publisher Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share in the digital advertising space.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the video, display and social media advertising markets and competitive trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead quantitative analysis of demand, including opportunity sizing of both traditional and emerging demand channels.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, to reconcile supply-based budget models with demand-based analyses.
  • Drive the growth of our advertising offerings, including business management in support of organisational goals around revenue, product adoption and advertiser maturity advancement.
  • Partner with Ads Marketing to develop customer-facing sales and marketing narratives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at an organisational level.
  • Significant professional or military experience.
  • Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
  • A proven track record in developing and launching digital advertising go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while defining and delivering priorities amidst ambiguity.
  • Experience building and executing product and sales strategies across teams at scale globally.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location and requirements of the job.
