SEN Teaching AssistantMilk Education are working with a Primary School in Leeds who are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support across a general classroom with children with additional needs. This role is starting as soon as possible.The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating toe the child’s learning needs for this SEN Teaching Assistant position. The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:30pm, Monday to Friday.This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child’s needs are being met. In this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.Teaching Assistant- Role & Responsibilities:Promote inclusion and acceptance of all childrenSupport children consistently whilst responding to their individual needsWork with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriateDeliver catch-up sessionsTeaching Assistant Level- Non-negotiables:Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two yearsMust have a passion for educationMust possess good numeracy and literacy skillsMust have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacherMust be reliable and punctualWhy choose Milk?Milk Education are an eco-friendly, purpose-driven supply agency, driven to make a change.
