The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher who can deliver engaging and highquality language instruction. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to excel in their language skills and gain cultural insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver effective MFL lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Support and motivate students to reach their language learning goals.
- Monitor and assess student progress offering constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest in language education.
- Promote cultural understanding and appreciation through the curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages Linguistics or a related field.
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for languages and commitment to enhancing student success.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in teaching multiple languages.
- Experience in leading extracurricular language activities.
- Familiarity with integrating technology in language teaching.
