We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Technical Officer on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: 17.96 - 23.47 per hour Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Technical Officer to provide administrative and technical support to the Waste & Cleaning service within Southwark Council. The role will focus on monitoring service requests creating statistical reports and supporting service delivery improvements. This is a key role in ensuring accurate data management efficient administration and effective communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities: Monitor and create statistical information associated with service requests and failures.Input data accurately into spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) SAP and other systems ensuring information is up to date and reliable.File and archive records both electronically and manually in line with council policies.Analyse tonnage and service data providing recommendations for improving efficiency and delivery.Deal with written and oral enquiries and complaints providing clear and professional responses. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English. Experiences:At least 1 year of experience delivering front-line services or managing service-related data/contracts.Experience using SAP or similar systems for finance monitoring and reporting (desirable).Experience of delivering excellent customer service.Experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook at an intermediate level.Strong knowledge of data entry monitoring and statistical reporting processes.Understanding of customer service principles ideally within a public sector environment.Ability to plan organise and prioritise workloads effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.Accuracy and attention to detail in handling data and documentation.
