Job Title:Technical Design Engineer Location:Croxley Green, Hertfordshire (Hybrid3 days office / 2 days home after training) Salary:Up to£38,000 per annum(DOE) + Annual Bonus + Benefits Hours:MondayThursday 8:30am5:15pm, Friday 8:30am4:15pm (40 hours per week) Are you a technically minded engineer with experience inestimating and designwithin plumbing, heating, or HVAC systems? Working within theProjects Team , youll play a vital role in providingtechnical, design, and estimating supportto the UK Sales Teamhelping deliver accurate system designs, quotations, and customer solutions for a variety of building applications. Key Responsibilities: Support the UK Sales Team by managing customer enquiries and providing timely technical advice. Produce commercial and domestic systemdesigns, quotations, and estimates . Create technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for client proposals. Provide day-to-daytechnical supportto sales and marketing teams. Ensure design and estimating deliverables are completed on time and to specification. Assist in the development of design tools, processes, and documentation. Develop proficiency with company software and systems through structured training. What Theyre Looking For: Proven experience indesign and estimatingroles within plumbing, heating, or HVAC sectors. Strongtechnical mindsetwith a good grasp of design principles, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. Proficiency inCAD tools, MS Office , and relevant engineering or CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Excellentcommunication and problem-solvingskills with a collaborative approach. HNC/Degree inMechanical Engineeringor related discipline (advantageous). Candidates with strong estimating experience and interest in developing design capability are encouraged to apply.
