We are seeking a dynamic STR Events Controller to be the definitive single point of contact for our short-term rental events customers. This high-impact role requires complete ownership of the customer journey from strategic planning to impeccable delivery ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and cultivating strong repeat business relationships. You will be the vital link to managing STR projects for events such as Formula 1 concerts and exhibitions with our network of suppliers partners and internal teams.We offer:Key Responsibilities:Strategic Client & Partner Engagement:Act as the primary contact building and maintaining strong relationships with event customers suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery and repeat business.Commercial & Project Management:Drive the development of commercial proposals agreements and oversee the entire events calendar from planning to execution ensuring stakeholder alignment and optimal resource utilisation.Operational Excellence & Compliance:Administer short-term hire enquiries coordinate with workshops and asset teams for efficient scheduling manage all contractual and documentation processes (including PDI third-party hire and off-hires) ensuring accuracy and compliance.Financial Administration:Handle customer and supplier review meetings resolve invoice queries and manage costs effectively.Communication & Support:Provide responsive communication for all enquiries and support the Asset Director in commercial endeavours.This role also includes other duties as assigned to support the dynamic needs of the business.Tasks and Qualifications:Required Functional Competencies and experience:Exceptional Customer & Stakeholder Relationship Management:Proven ability to build and nurture strong trusted partnerships with internal and external clients suppliers and key stakeholders.End-to-End Project Management:Demonstrated capability in planning executing and overseeing complex logistics and project timelines from inception to completion.Commercial Acumen & Negotiation Skills:Understanding of commercial proposals contracts cost management and the ability to contribute to mutually beneficial agreements.Operational Coordination & Resource Planning:Strong ability to liaise effectively across departments (e.g. workshops asset control accounts) to schedule resources manage workflows and meet operational demands.Meticulous Administrative & Documentation Management:High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in handling contracts orders invoices PDI documentation and general administrative tasks.Problem-Solving & Proactive Issue Resolution:Ability to identify challenges address queries (customer/supplier invoices off-hires) and implement effective solutions efficiently.Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with diverse groups and manage inquiries professionally.Time Management & Organisational Proficiency:Capacity to manage multiple priorities administer inquiries efficiently and maintain a well-organized event calendar and documentation system.Proficient IT Skills:At least an intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
