We are seeking a determined and hands-on Area Manager to oversee and manage multiple retail stores within the Newbury area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving performance, sales, and delivering an exceptional customer service experience across 15 stores.

Description

  • Oversee, manage, and drive performance of multiple retail stores in the Newbury area.
  • Ensure exceptional levels of customer service are delivered consistently.
  • Implement strategies to drive sales and maximise profitability.
  • Provide leadership, training, and development to store managers and teams.
  • Regularly review performance and operational standards across all stores.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Represent the company brand, promoting its values and ethos.

Profile

A successful Area Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced multi-site store management role within the retail industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills across all levels.
  • Extremely ambitious hands-on, and a highly influential leader.
  • A strong interest in home decor or interiors and passion for beautiful product.
  • Able to travel extensively in a field role to multiple locations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to have a fast-paced approach.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
