Hours of Work: 4.5 day week Staff Benefits: Life Insurance, Medicash scheme, Free car parking on site, Canteen, Career progression, Flexitime #wbstaff Job Title: Technical Support Engineer Department: All Service One Reports To: Warranty Manager Purpose of Post To effectively provide technical support by phone and email, in the form of product familiarisation, parts information, specification queries and general remote vehicle assistance. Key Tasks 1. Ensure all technical related telephone and email queries are handled daily in a prompt and effective manner 2. Complete parts assembly breakdowns, to ensure all required parts have individual part numbers. 3. To produce, issue, control and keep records of all service part information as required. 4. Ensure the latest product manual information is kept up to date for all relevant personnel and customers. 5. Ensure the latest defect resolution information is relayed to all relevant personnel and customers. 6. Assist with service/parts enquiries related to new bus tenders and contracts. 7. Log any all calls and identify training needs.
