Position Overview:


We are looking for a talented and driven CAD Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience (minimum 2-3 years) with CAD software and a passion for managing and optimising CAD systems and document control processes. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can take control of CAD operations, ensure the accuracy of design data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices but also have an active role in supporting engineering and design outputs.


Key Responsibilities:


• Develop, modify, and optimise detailed CAD models and drawings for mechanical and structural components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, inventor, or similar).

• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications, standards, and client requirements.

• Manage and maintain CAD systems, ensuring up-to-date and accurate design data and models.

• Oversee document control processes, including the organization, distribution, and retrieval of engineering documents.

• Conduct CAD design reviews, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Support the development and implementation of CAD standards, best practices, and process improvements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve CAD-related issues promptly.

• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to CAD and engineering design. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Engineer or in a similar role.
