I am currently recruiting a Group Head of Finance for a growing, acquisitive PE backed business in Milton Keynes. This role will be the number two to the CFO providing support across all areas of finance and managing a team.


You Will:

  • Lead and manage the full finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance
  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and mentor a team of qualified and part and non-qualified finance professionals
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the CFO and senior management team
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and drive performance improvements.
  • Lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion.
  • Support the CFO in investor relations activities and presentations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities


You Have:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Proven experience in a group finance role
  • Demonstrated management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team of finance professionals
  • Strong technical accounting skills and thorough knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
