Job Summary



The Floor Supervisor at 33 Fulfilment is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on the fulfilment floor, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. The role involves supervising a team of associates, maintaining workflow, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and supporting the Warehouse Manager in achieving operational goals. This position requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise Daily Activities: Oversee the daily operations on the fulfilment floor, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and according to company standards.
  • Team Coordination: Directly supervise fulfilment associates, provide guidance and support, and ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training new team members, and provide ongoing training and support to ensure high levels of competency and performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all orders are processed accurately, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues promptly, coordinating with the Floor Manager and other departments as necessary.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for team members, facilitating clear communication and fostering a collaborative work environment.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfilment environment, with supervisory experience preferred.


Skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, and work in various warehouse conditions.
