We are recruitingJoin our growing business as a Project Design Engineer where you will contribute to the successful delivery of renewable energy projects by supporting both the design and project management functions. Working closely with the Head of Engineering & Installations and a multidisciplinary team, you will be involved from initial proposal through to system commissioning. Your role will include outlining technical specifications, producing coherent system designs, and ensuring that all project deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.·        Salary: £27-35k depending on experience·        Support the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects·        Deliver high-quality technical outputs – including system designs, technical specifications & reports· Based from our office in Alnwick with potential for remote/hybrid working·        Grow professionally in a dynamic environment – ideal for a graduate or recently qualified engineer passionate about renewable energyKey Accountabilities  Develop functional design specifications and system layouts Respond to supplier technical enquiries and assist in equipment selection Produce piping diagrams, general arrangements (GA’s), and technical drawings Manage document control and ensure compliance with relevant standards Ensure all designs and documentation adhere industry standards and best practice Create Bills of Materials and support cost estimation and budgeting Assist with procurement and supplier coordination Conduct site surveys and contribute to health & safety planning Prepare clear & concise technical reports to communicate design decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestonesIf you’re as passionate as we are about helping clients to flourish without the environmental and financial costs of fossil fuels, then you’ll be in good company.
