You could be our new Sous Chef atPicturehouse Centralcinema in Piccadilly Circus, helping the Head Chef create unforgettable experiences for our customers through the food from one of the multiple outlets onsite whether that is the restaurant, bar, café or at an event.

What do you get?

  • £30,000 to £32,000 (dependant on age)

What will you be doing?

  • As the Sous Chef you will be supporting the Head Chef in the running of the kitchen and all food operations in the multiple outlets on site such as, the restaurant, café, bar and multiple events that happen onsite.
  • You will run the kitchen and manage the team whilst the Head Chef is not on shift, ensuring that their high standards are continued to be met, and our customers receive high quality food.
  • As the Sous Chef you will use your creative flair to support the Head Chef with developing and delivering new menus across all the outlets, from the restaurant to the events.
  • You will support the Head Chef in helping keep the kitchen running to a high operational standard, contributing to stock takes, stock rotation, supplier ordering, health & safety and managing rotas.

About you

  • Sous Chef you are looking for a kitchen role where you get a work/life balance and will work with a small but dynamic team, supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of running the food outlets on site (restaurant, cafe, bar & events), being the Head Chefs second in command
  • You have strong knowledge and practices in food hygiene standards whilst taking pride in the food cook and deliver for our customers to ensure the highest level of customer experience.
  • You have strong experience of supporting the operational aspects of a kitchen from ordering produce, stock taking, health & safety and any other tasks as request by the Head Chef or General Manager.
