Theatre Practitioner - Recovery and Anaesthetics (Bank)Sarum Road HospitalBank ShiftsSalary: Up to 35.00 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner to join their team of staff in theTheatredepartment.This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.Duties of this role include:Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments maintaining sterility anticipating surgeon needs and ensuring equipment safety; support the Anaesthetist in equipment preparation patient monitoring airway management and positioning; and provide post-operative care monitoring vital signs managing pain and nausea and ensuring patient readiness for discharge.Adhere to infection prevention and control policies and procedures at all times.Set up operating theatres according to surgery type and specific patient requirements.Check all surgical and anaesthetic equipment prior to use and report faults immediately.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve safe and efficient surgical lists.Support and contribute to a positive respectful and efficient theatre environment.Applicants should meet the following criteria:Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC).Experience or training in a theatre environment in at least one area (scrub anaesthetics or recovery).Understanding of infection control manual handling and patient safety principles.Ability to work under pressure problem-solve and respond quickly to changes in a dynamic environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail accuracy and commitment to safe surgical practice.Salary & Benefits:Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate.Our culture is a result of the way our people live and breathe our philosophy which combines our purpose principles and values.To find out more about the Circle Health Group Philosophy: Key Skills Healthcare Attorney,Apache Tomcat,Commerce,Cost Estimation,Arabic Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
