National Account Executive Development

Applications are invited for the above position to work as part of the UK Foodservice National Development team in Bromley.
This role is home based with the expectation of regular travel within the UK and Ireland, including to the Bromley Office as required. On average there would be an expectation to work away at least 2 nights every week (depending on location).
The Role
The role is responsible for developing the sales and contribution of both existing and new products propositions throughout the UK Foodservice end user channel (Cost / Public Sector) customer base, assuming direct responsibility for nominated end user national accounts and ensuring agreed strategies are implemented within that account base. This role will contribute as an active member of the National Accounts team and in driving the UK Foodservice business towards rapid and profitable growth as well as provide key customer focus, building genuine, sharing multidisciplinary partnerships that jointly seek to generate unique solutions.
The Person
The successful candidate must be educated to GCSE Level (to include Maths & English Grade C or above) or equivalent and have previous experience within a the UK end user Foodservice Channel, specifically contract caterers, care sector and NHS (Traditional Cost Center Channel). Experience with relevant account management gained within a national account UK Foodservice environment is essential with experience in Cost/Public Sector and catering skills being desirable.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have experience with own brand and branded manufacturing processes, in particular within a food manufacturing business. The successful candidate must have clear understanding of food trends and menu planning within the Cost Sector Care and Education to include Nutritional and Dietary Requirements.
The candidate must have the ability to identify new business opportunities, turning them into commercial success, with a good understanding of food trends and menu planning within care an education cost sector (to include nutritional and dietary requirements).
The candidate must be a highly organised, self-starter who is results focused with an understanding of budget control. They will also have strong ability to work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills (to include presentation and negotiation skills), with a high proficiency in the Microsoft Office package. A full valid driving license is also essential for this role.
