Job DescriptionA global energy trading company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its London-based EMEA legal team. This position offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of energy trading, M&A, and infrastructure investment, advising senior leaders on complex, high-value transactions across a dynamic portfolio.Key Responsibilities include:Corporate/M&AAdvising on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and portfolio management in energy infrastructure and power assets.Structuring, drafting, and negotiating key transaction documentation.Supporting project and corporate financing activity across the asset portfolio.Trading & Commercial AdvisoryPartnering with trading and commercial teams on deal structuring, negotiation, and risk management.Drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts covering both physical and financial commodity transactions.Advising on trade finance matters, including credit facilities and bilateral agreements.Collaborating with cross-functional teams across credit, operations, compliance, and tax.The ideal candidate will be a UK-qualified Lawyer with at least 7 years' PQE, with experience across both M&A and Energy Trading matters.For a confidential chat about this or other in-house roles we are handling, please get in touch with To...
