Greater London, United Kingdom ROCKET: Award-Winning Youth & Parents Marketing Full time

Full time

Permanent

£30-£35k

Hybrid Role (1 day per week in London)

Start date: Jan/Feb 2025

About Rocket:

We are a content marketing business that specialises in engaging youth and parent audience groups. We create and distribute content across all platforms for brands who market to families and youth audiences and have been doing this for 13 years.

Our offering has consistently evolved and moved with the market, we’ve built our own products and proudly deliver innovative campaigns to engage families and youth audiences in the UK, Europe and the US.

Our content creation studio delivers a range of content from audio ads to social content, TV ads and artwork for out of home campaigns.

When clients collaborate with Rocket they expect us to use our knowledge of this audience group to deliver innovative content and campaigns, across multiple platforms.

We work with some brilliant brands including; Moonbug Entertainment, Magic Light Pictures, Inspired Online Schools, Guinness World Records and most book publishers in the UK

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Content Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end flow of content projects across the business. In this role, you will manage the production of all content Rocket is delivering for clients, ensuring all content created meets a high-quality standard and is delivered on time and to budget.

Whilst content creation is not an essential part of this role as we have a team of designers and editors to create, we do need this person to have an artistic eye and knowledge of the Adobe suite as a minimum to help give feedback and advice.

⭐️ About you:

This role will suit somebody who is already working in a project management or content co-ordination role, and understands the fundamentals of creating content for various platforms.

Alternatively, you may be a designer looking to take a step towards a production role, or you might be managing content in-house and looking to bring more variety to your role by working with diverse clients at an agency like ours.

You enjoy learning about new content formats, including advancements in AI and stay informed about the latest trends in social media content. You understand the differences between an advert and an advertorial, and bring creative thinking to producing distinctive audio ads.

You are comfortable speaking to clients, regularly communicating ideas and giving status updates. As well as being brilliant with clients you’ll also be confident delegating and giving feedback to the team.

Ultimately, you will enjoy developing content and a plus side would be some experience in doing this for brands who market to youth and family audience groups

Here’s what your day to day could look like at Rocket as our new Content Coordinator…

  • Allocate work efficiently among designers, delegating tasks to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.

  • Create quotes and estimates for production work.

  • Use Slack and Google Meet to collaborate effectively with the team. You’ll lead project briefings, discuss creative concepts, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Join team brainstorming sessions and share creative ideas for the next experiential event for a book release, to the latest audio advert for an education client, for example.

  • Monitor and reconcile project budgets, tracking expenditures, team hours, and overall costs to ensure we are delivering projects within budget. Provide detailed monthly reports to senior management.

  • On occasion be able to jump into the Adobe suite for either video editing or amends to 2D content when the team is at full capacity.

  • Produce all of our video shoots pre and post production. From securing licences, building the team, securing locations, managing logistics, giving art direction and co-ordinate the editing and final approvals process.

  • Build relationships with freelancers to expand our production offering and up-sell clients.

  • Ensure all of the content we create is accessible for audiences (Language, sub-titles, format, colours & lighting)

  • Process TV adverts through the clearing process using platforms such as Peach.

  • Assist the campaign team by providing expertise on production capabilities, including skill sets and timelines, what is feasible and managing expectations.

  • On occasion, support the campaign team with the delivery of content we receive from influencers (content creators) liaising with the content creator to ensure the content hits the brief and objectives.

✨Additional:
