They will support guide and coach team members on their cases applying knowledge and experience to problem solve and overcome challenges whilst working in collaboration with partner services. The post will oversee a relentless focus on child protection within the team and be alert to safeguarding duties and the management of thresholds and risksThe successful candidate will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with 4 or more years of qualified practice with experience of working with children and young people with complex health issues as well as palliative/terminal care. They will have experience of managing and developing a team have excellent verbal and written communication skills and up to date knowledge of key legislation and policies.The Childrens Occupational Therapy Service is a small but dynamic team who have presented at RCOT Conference in the past and members have been in positions on the RCOT local regional and national boards.
