Located in leafy St Johns Wood on the Jubilee line minutes from Central London our luxury private Hospital has an international reputation for providing the highest quality of care to patients and is unique in that all profits fund our onsite Hospice St Johns.We are currently recruiting to increase staffing in our Community Specialist Palliative Care team as we extend our service delivery to 7 days per week 8am to 8pmWhat would be my responsibilities as a Trainee Clinical Nurse SpecialistThe aim of this post is to provide the opportunity for the post holder to develop knowledge and skills in all aspects of Community Specialist Palliative care nursing whilst working with the Hospice Community Specialist Palliative Care Team.In order to progress to a Band 7 Community Clinical Nurse Specialist position the post holder will need to achieve competencies based on a framework of the following 4 distinct domains :CommunicationLeadership and ManagementQualityClinical PracticeThis will include the post holder being closely supported through a structured programme of supervision reflection (written and verbal) and attendance at training courses such as advanced communication skills and clinical assessment skills.Am I the right person for this roleYou will be registered with the NMCEducated to degree levelHave experience in palliative and end of life care in a community or inpatient settingBe experienced in working in a MDTBe passionate about developing into CNS in Specialist Palliative CareWhy apply for this roleAt our organisation we are passionate about providing our employees with a supportive and engaging environment.
