We have an exciting job opportunity for an e-Learning Support Officer on a 12 month FTC basis.
The role is hybrid working Manchester.
This role is focused on a strategic digital skills project. For this project, the postholder will be responsible for organising, developing and evaluating a set of learning resources around and within LinkedIn Learning.
Candidates applying for this role should have the follwing skills and experience:-
- Experience of Articulate Rise is essential.
- Experience of developing learning materials/activities for self-access, with the learner in mind.
- A broad understanding of the processof planning, designing, developing, testing and evaluating eLearning resources.
- Awareness of pedagogical perspectives on online learning and effective practice of delivering teaching and learning online.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with subject matter experts to deliver eLearning resources, materials and support.
- Proven initiative and judgement to resolve daily problems independently or with the support of members of the team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Willingness and proven ability to undertake professional development to update skills and knowledge.
- Experience of working on eLearning projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Experience of using software/web applications/technology for learning.
Desirable skills include:-
- Awareness of the principles of instructional design/pedagogy relevant to eLearning.
- Experience of using Blackboard Learn or similar learning management systems/virtual learning environments.
- Experience in user experience/accessibility designor testing.
- Experience of video and audio production.
- Experience of coding in JavaScript or other scripting languages.
