FJA are looking to recruit a Sales Manager on behalf of our client based in the Rochdale area. Joining a hugely successful team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the Sales operations and driving the team towards exceptional performance.  This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing strategic sales plans, building relationships, and leading a team to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will collaborate directly with Senior Management to align sales strategies and solutions with company-wide objectives    Benefits in the role of Sales Manager:

  Sales Manager responsibilities;
  • Responsible for setting and delivering the worldwide sales budget for the company.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by working directly with them and understanding their needs, including international face to face activity.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the group management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts, while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Act as voice of customer, internally and drive new product development to meet customer’s needs.
  • As a senior member of the company’s management team, you will work in collaboration with other senior managers to deliver excellence and improve the company’s capabilities.
  The successful Sales Manager must have:
  • Proven working experience as a Sales Manager, with a track record of achieving growth and hitting sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Can show effective leadership and management experience of internal and external teams.
  • Have an advanced level of business fluency, and a high level of commercial acumen.
  • A sales professional with excellent communication skills including strong interpersonal and team leading capabilities.
  • International business experience and can show intercultural understanding.
  • Is available to travel at least 20% of the time.
  • Is computer literate, with experience of Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP platforms.
