As a key team member you will design develop and optimize products and tools for internal customers supporting data analysis and autonomous robotics deployment in the offshore wind industry. You will also be helping grow the Simulation Team to build our capabilities to support the business.You will work closely with the product team cross-functional engineering teams and various stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass high-level software development architectural design and adherence to rigorous quality standards using Modern C and Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Robotics Software Engineering and Machine Learning to translate novel ideas into tangible products. As a senior engineer you will also mentor junior engineers provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Robotics Software Engineering and Machine Learning to translate novel ideas into tangible products.If youre passionate about robotics and simulation love solving complex technical challenges and want to mentor others while growing your own expertise this role offers the perfect blend of technical depth and meaningful impact.What you can expectImplement sophisticated features and functionalities that accurately represent real-world subsea environments and robotic operations.Write and maintain high-quality efficient and scalable code using Modern C and CI/CD practices within the Unreal Engine framework.Conduct technical reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high standards.Work closely with the product team to define project requirements objectives and deliverables.Drive the development roadmap from design through to implementation testing and deployment.Drive development of simulation solutions and frameworks that can be applied across multiple projects driving reuse and consistency. Provide technical leadership and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams (robotics and ML) to integrate and align various components and systems.Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange across project teams and business units strengthening alignment and shared expertise.Stay updated with the latest industry trends tools and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.What you bringYoull thrive at Rosenxt if you are creative self-reliant and collaborative and want to help the team do its best work.Essential skills that you bring:Proficiency in Unreal Engine including Blueprints.Familiarity with various components of Unreal Engine including materials Niagara Nanite Procedural Content Generation and post-processing.
