We develop, deliver and support outstanding, ground-breaking simulators and motion generators that support the engineering that leads to winning performance on the track.Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking to fill a Simulation & Control Engineer role, where you will be expected to:Commission robotic software for our simulators in Bristol and at customer sitesTest our simulators, evaluate and improve their performanceBring together a wide range of electrical and control systems to make complete simulatorsIdentify software and hardware issues from telemetry and coordinate a response with the teamSupport customers by monitoring, improving and maintaining our simulator softwareDesign and build test rigs from realtime systems, sensors and actuatorsWhat we're looking forA background in fields such as Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Maths or Computer ScienceExperience in at least one high level language (e.g. Python, MATLAB) either professionally, academically or through suitable experienceA methodical and rigorous approach to problem solvingConfidence in applying the fundamentals of Physics and MathsCuriosity and a passion for improving problems you findClear communication and the ability to work well in a teamDetermination, independence and a will to take responsibilityWhat you can expectHands on experience, running both simulations and their real-world equivalentsA technical grounding. You will spend most of your time working with tools such as TwinCAT and PythonAn education in Simulation, Modelling and ControlResponsibility from the start.
