Associate Quality System SpecialistCompany:Boeing United Kingdom LimitedBoeing Quality & Compliance is seeking to hire Associate Quality System Specialist for the Maintenance Training Team at our Training Campus based in Crawley UK to work with our aircraft maintenance training team in support of growing international training requirements. Our team is responsible for the continuing compliance of all maintenance training activities worldwide including both internal and external oversight and has many opportunities for short-term international travel. Most team members are currently working a hybrid model spending 1-2 days per week in the office with a flexible schedule.Hiring details:This requisition is for a locally hired position in Crawley. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:Leading quality reviews of:Regulations and regulatory compliance documentsRecordsProgram and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program developmentSupporting the quality managerSupporting the application process for regulatory certificates and supporting the maintenance of approved regulatory certificatesSupporting the application of course/curriculum approvalsSupporting regulatory approvals for Boeing and Non-Boeing training sitesSupporting audits plans and schedulesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Education: Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science3 years of experience utilizing process improvement and problem-solving methodologiesAbility to travel internationally without restrictions is requiredPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 years of experience implementing and/or maintaining quality standards (EX: ISO9001 Aerospace Standard AS91001)1 years of experience with Part 147/145 aircraft maintenance operationsWorking knowledge of EASA TCCA or CAAC regulations related to maintenance trainingAdvanced office skills (Excel Access)Experience working with foreign customers and regulatory authoritiesASQ CQA or other professional quality certificationsSix Sigma certificationThe Boeing benefits package goes above and beyond focusing on your physical emotional financial and social well-being.
