Together, we can achieve remarkable outcomes and set new standards in customer service and client satisfaction.Position OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional leader to drive our Mission Training & Exercises (MT&E) business line, bridging the gap between advanced technical capabilities and evolving customer requirements. You will lead a virtual, cross-functional team to deliver industry-leading, differentiated solutions that maintain our competitive edge in core and adjacent markets. Success will be measured against the virtual P&L performance of your business line.You will leverage your experience in military operational readiness training and operations, bringing a deep understanding of complex mission training environments and requirements for mission readiness. As warfare evolves, training needs to as well. The MT&E business line will harness your expertise in digital backbone architectures for secure, multi-domain, distributed synthetic training environments. Join CAE and make this a realityKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business PlanningDevelop and execute comprehensive business plans with committed strategic order intake targets that drive business line revenue and profit growthBuild and qualify a robust 5-year pipeline aligned with regional leadership objectivesDrive win strategy excellence to maximize PWin across all opportunitiesLead cross-regional market segment teams ensuring solutions, proposals and marketing alignmentSolution Development & InnovationIdentify technology gaps linked to customer mission requirementsSecure funding for technology development through appropriate mechanisms (program backlog, investment books, internal and customer funded R&D)Collaborate with stakeholders to architect comprehensive, scalable business solutionsMap future operational requirements for next-generation multi-domain warfare trainingLeadership & Team DevelopmentBuild and mentor high-performing teams through expertise development and coachingDrive strategic staffing decisions for pipeline opportunitiesFoster cross-functional collaboration across technical and commercial teamsGovernance & Performance ManagementReport quarterly progress through OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) and monthly management reportingFacilitate Lead-to-Award governance, including Pursue/No-Pursue decision gatesMaintain virtual business line P&L accountability and drive continuous performance improvementRequired Education, Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, or equivalent experienceMinimum 10+ years in business development, capture management, sales, or program managementProven track record shaping and winning large strategic opportunities in complex OEM and governmental environmentsP&L leadership experience in technology, aerospace, or defense sectorsStrong business acumen with ability to make sound decisions in competitive, fast-paced, uncertain environmentsInfluential leader capable of driving results through matrix organizations without direct authorityExceptional motivator who builds trust and inspires high performanceCollaborative mindset with proven success in team-oriented environmentsStrong communicator with excellent oral and written skills across diverse audiences (employees, customers, partners, executivesMilitary background (preferred)Active or eligible for NATO SECRET Security ClearanceWhat Makes You Stand OutTrack record of transforming complex technical capabilities into market-leading solutionsDeep relationships within defense and aerospace communitiesAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex stakeholder environmentsPassion for advancing mission readiness through innovation and excellenceCAE OffersAn environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued The opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team The possibility to work from home occasionally Flexible schedules Attractive employee benefits About CAEAt CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
