Hardware Developer

Position: Graduate Hardware Developer
We are seeking highly motivated Graduate Hardware Developers with a passion for PCB design and FPGA development. This role offers an opportunity to work on a range of cutting-edge projects, from low-power microcontroller designs to advanced network processing solutions involving multiple FPGAs and CPUs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Simulate and implement signal and image processing algorithms in VHDL for FPGAs
- Design PCBs incorporating FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed network interfaces, and analogue/RF signal filtering
- Develop and test firmware and software for PCB functionality
- Create Linux device drivers for hardware components
Candidate Requirements:
- A strong academic background, with a 1st or 2.1 in a numerate discipline or a PhD
- High grades in A-level Maths and Physics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Desired Skills and Interests:
- Knowledge of or a strong interest in FPGA development with VHDL
- PCB design and layout experience
- Embedded software development in C/C++
