Sales Coordinator Location: Trafford Park, Manchester Package: Basic salary up to £27,000 plus bonus & benefits Hours: 40 hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm) Sector: Packaging distributionThe Company Gottlieb Packaging Materials, part of Macfarlane Group PLC, the UK's largest packaging distributor are seeking to recruit an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our established team based at their offices based in Manchester (Trafford Park). As a Group we are continuing to grow significantly and are always keen to attract talented new individuals to our business.The Sales Coordinator Role Sales Coordination is a key part of what we do, providing the crucial ‘bridge' between our customers and our internal purchasing, logistics and external field sales teams. This fast-paced, multi-faceted role will see you handling inbound customer enquiries and processing sales and purchase orders. This position is wholly office based and focussed upon customer engagement. You will be focussed on understanding customer needs, to ensure opportunities are realised and first-class service is always provided.Please note, given our office location and the surrounding area's traffic, we would prefer candidates who live within a 30 minute commute to our site (postcode: M17 1SB).Sales Coordinator Key Duties • To look after key accounts, including buying and selling products • Drive sales forward and up-sell via cold calls, calls to lapsed customers & re-quotes • To support external sales reps • Prepare & send quotes • Process sales and purchase orders, and follow through to delivery • Efficient response to incoming phone enquiries • To chase suppliers, to be responsible for own admin, and work to deadlines • To liaise with internal staff/warehouse where requiredDo you have the correct profile • Strong sales skills & excellent telephone manner • Professional, confident, polite, helpful & friendly • Excellent planning skills, able to prioritise a varied workload to meet operational demands • Excellent verbal & written communication • Computer literate • Flexible, multi-tasking - willing to undertake additional tasks in order to meet customer requirements and assist in other areas as may be required • Customer service focussedWe welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds irrespective of your age, gender, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, or sexual orientation.
