Assistant Merchandiser Overview

Our client is a highly successful, global retailer looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join their fashion team. This position is 2-3 days in the office in an area that is easily commutable from Manchester/Greater Manchester/Leeds Area.


Assistant Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Range planning
  • Review in season trading – daily/weekly/monthly
  • Taking historical sales data and forecasting future trends
  • Use sales reports to assess targets and raise issues with the Merchandiser
  • Constantly reviewing product performance
  • Working closely with the Buying Teams and provide updates to Logistics and Distribution
  • Manage the delivery and shipment deadlines and provide updates on any issues/delays and rectify where possible
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct Rules


Assistant Merchandiser Skills and Experience

  • Competent using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPS
  • Confident working to your own initiative, but to also ask questions when necessary, especially as you will sometimes be working from home
  • Excellent Analytical and PC Skills
